Experienced Design Engineer
Reporting to the Engineering Director the successful candidate will e:Qualified to degree level/HND/HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Genuinely competent on 3D Solid Works. Must have medium to heavy mechanical/electrical engineering background. Demonstrable background in layouts, design, assembly and detail drawing using 3D package including - typically but not exclusively to suit a clients specific requirements. Produce and assist in the production of technically credible, cost effective design solutions. Produce detailed manufacturing drawings. Good communicator at all levels. Team player with the ability to work independently. Capable of multi-tasking.Able to undertake and complete tasks in competitive' timescales. Possess initiative in all aspects of the job role. This is a permanent position which offers an excellent remuneration package including the following benefits -Competitive salary.32 days holiday per year (24 days + 8 statutory). Pension scheme. Internal Sales Engineer
Based in our Sheffield Sales Department, the role involves the preparation of quotations as well as providing assistance to customers and support to our global external sales team. Previous experience with electrical panel layouts would be an advantage along with the ability to interpret customer drawings. A keen eye to detail, a good telephone manner and good keyboard skills are essential to the position. The position is permanent with excellent prospects and the package includes competitive salary, contributory pension scheme, health insurance and generous holiday entitlement.
